Terms and conditions

1. About these terms

These terms apply to hitimes.com, run by Hitimes Ltd (company number 00000000), 1 Example Street, London EC1A 1AA, United Kingdom ("we"). By using hitimes you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 13. Keep your Google account secure: what happens under your sign-in is your responsibility. One person, one account.

3. What you add

You can add items to lists and keep rankings. You keep any rights you have in what you add, and you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, show and arrange it on hitimes for as long as it is on the site.

You must not add anything that is unlawful, infringes someone's rights, is hateful or harassing, is spam or advertising, or tries to break or abuse the site. Do not try to manipulate rankings with fake accounts or automated votes.

We may check, reject, hide or remove anything added to hitimes, and suspend an account that breaks these terms.

4. Other people's content

Item pictures, descriptions and videos come from Wikipedia, YouTube and other websites, and belong to their owners under their own terms. Rankings reflect readers' opinions, not ours.

5. Using the site

Use hitimes for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy the site's lists in bulk, scrape it at a rate that burdens it, or get around its limits.

6. Availability

We provide hitimes as it is and as available. We may change, pause or stop any part of it.

7. Liability

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for content added by readers or provided by other websites. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.

8. Ending

You can stop using hitimes at any time and ask us to delete your account (admin@hitimes.com). We may end your access if you break these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use hitimes after a change means you accept it.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections of your local consumer law.
