How it works

Lists and topics

A topic is a big list, such as Best movies of all time. Inside a topic are smaller lists: by decade, by genre, or by date for news. Every list page shows its items in order.

You sign in with your Google account. You can read everything without signing in; you need an account to vote, add items and keep your own rankings.

Upvote, then duel

Upvote an item and hitimes places it in your ranking for that topic. It shows you two items, the new one and one you have ranked before, and you pick the one you rate higher. A few picks later, the item has its place. You can change an item's place later with Change my rank.

Add an item

Missing something? Use Add item on a list page. Paste a link (Wikipedia, YouTube or most web pages) or search Wikipedia by name, check the card, and add it. Your first comparison starts straight away.

My list

My list shows your own ranking for the topic you are in. My lists gathers all of them. Each one is public or private; you choose.

The search box on every page finds items, lists and topics as you type.
