Fakistra beach is one of the ten most beautiful “wild” beaches in Europe. Located on the Pelion peninsula in the province of Thessaly on mainland Greece, it is a stunning stretch of golden sand surrounded by pine trees and shrubs. It is one of the few remaining undeveloped beaches in Europe. It was voted as one of the top 10 beaches in Europe by TripAdvisor users who voted it as number three on their list of best beaches in Greece.
