Mike ‘Pancho’ Locke, born in Neath, Wales, in 1979, passed away and has been hailed as an ‘absolute Welsh Treasure’. His friends and family wrote: ‘It is with profound sadness that San Portablo and the Locke family write of the passing of the father, son, brother, uncle, friend, skater, stuntman and all-round goodfella Michael Richard Locke. ‘Affectionately known as Pancho to the world, an absolute Welsh Treasure and San Portablo King. ‘His brilliance we are sure will still shine through far wide high low and across the seven seas. He lived an incredible life and lit up the world with his charm. They added: ‘Rest In Peace brother, your legend will never cease, it will only gain momentum.’ Pancho (middle) starred in ‘Dirty Sanchez’, which launched in 2003 (Picture: Shutterstock) Pancho’s cause of death has not been shared. ‘Dirty Sanchez’ was launched on UK MTV in 2003 after the massive success of ‘Jackass’ in the US. In 2006, a movie with the same name was released. Mike ‘Pancho’ Locke, a former stuntman and skateboarder featured on the show, later released the San Portablo clothing brand with friend Nigel Hunt. The clothing company’s social media paid tribute to Mike today, calling him someone who ‘lit up the world with his charm’. Tributes have already begun to pour in, with one person writing: ‘Absolutely gutting to hear. A cult classic by every metric.’ Another said: ‘Pancho was one of my heroes growing up in the late 90’s and early 00’s.’ Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at webnews@metro.co.uk.
