We heard more details about ChromeOS' Android upgrades at Snapdragon Summit 2025Snapdragon chips will power Chromebooks with the new OSQualcomm’s CEO Cristiano Amon called the OS "incredible"Qualcomm just hosted Snapdragon Summit 2025, and Google’s senior vice president of platforms & devices Rick Osterloh took to the stage to talk more about Android being integrated into ChromeOS – with Qualcomm’s CEO calling the computer-based Android “incredible.”There have long been rumors that Google will more closely combine ChromeOS with Android – here’s an article we wrote almost a decade ago on the topic – but in an interview with us earlier this year, Google’s president of Android ecosystem, Sameer Samat, officially revealed that Google is “going to be combining ChromeOS and Android into a single platform.”Given that Google makes both operating systems, they were already very closely linked, but Google plans to go beyond linking the platforms and actually build ChromeOS on top of Android. As Google’s Rick Osterloh said at Snapdragon Summit 2025 (via 9To5Google), “We are building together a common technical foundation for our products on PCs and desktop computing systems.”This, Google says, will allow it to better leverage its AI developments across its ecosystems by simplifying the efforts of its software engineers. Rather than building Gemini integration for Android and Gemini integration for Chrome, it just needs to do the work once.ChromeOS is getting a change, but when (Image credit: Future)Closer integration should also mean Android apps can be natively run on ChromeOS rather than relying on an Android virtual machine emulator, as has been the case until now.We still have yet to see what the new and improved ChromeOS will have in store for us, but Qualcomm’s CEO clearly has, saying, “It’s incredible. I think it delivers on the vision of conversions in mobile and PC. And I can’t wait to have one.” Based on comments at the Summit, what we will see will rely on Qualcomm’s PC chipsets, and might be coming sooner rather than later.High praise, though comments like this should obviously be taken with a pinch of salt – Qualcomm is partnering closely with Google on ChromeOS and other projects like Android XR. It has skin in the game and is therefore unlikely to levy any criticism at its partner’s efforts.Though, as I’ve mentioned, hopefully these comments mean the new ChromeOS is nearly ready to see the light of day, and that we can judge the OS for ourselves. We've got our fingers crossed and are ready to give you our thoughts as soon as we can try the new OS out.You might also likeGoogle patches another worrying Chrome security flaw Google Chrome Review: Features, Usage, and CompetitionGemini is coming to Chrome on desktop starting today for Pro and Ultra users in the U.S.

Tulsa King season 4: key information- Given early renewal in September 2025- Season 3 currently streaming weekly- No release date yet- Main cast expected to return- No official plot details, dependent on season 3 finale- Tulsa King spin-off, NOLA King, on its wayTulsa King season 4 has officially been renewed. The big news was announced ahead of season 3's premiere, which is not entirely surprising given it's one of the best Paramount+ shows. For three seasons, we've watched as Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) has led the charge to build a criminal empire in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gathering friends and enemies along the way, it's certainly not been an easy life for the aging mobster, but after 25 years in prison, Dwight isn't easily toppled. As we eagerly await Tulsa King season 4, here's everything we know so far about the show's next outing from release date speculation, predicted cast, plot rumors, and more. Full spoilers follow for Tulsa King seasons 1-3. Potential spoilers are also discussed for season 4.Tulsa King season 4: is there a release date?A post shared by Tulsa King (@tulsaking)A photo posted by on Tulsa King season 4 was renewed on September 16, as confirmed by the show's official Instagram, just days before season 3 began to air on Paramount+.While season 3 doesn't conclude on the streamer until November 23, it's hard to predict a release date for season 4, but I'm going to give it a good try.Filming for both season 2 and 3 wrapped in August and July respectively, then released in mid-September of both 2024 and 2025.With the show's renewal, this could mean season 4 will head into production in the first half of 2026 and so, I'd predict a mid-to-late 2026 release date. But, that's all purely speculation.Tulsa King season 4: has a trailer been released?A Tulsa King season 4 trailer hasn't dropped yet (Image credit: Paramount Plus)While season 3 is still airing on Paramount+ and there's been no official news yet of season 4's production, we're a far way off a Tulsa King season 4 trailer. For season 3, a teaser dropped in early August and an official trailer in early September. So, if the timings all line up, The General could return for the next season in 2026, meaning we could be looking at the same time in 2026 for trailers to drop. I'll update here as soon as we hear more.Tulsa King season 4: predicted castThe Tulsa King season 4 cast depends on the events of season 3 (Image credit: Paramount Plus)Spoilers follow for Tulsa King seasons 1 to 3.There's been no official Tulsa King season 4 cast announcements just yet, and while season 3 is still airing, it's not clear who will survive the dangerous drama. Here's the cast we'd predict to return (for now):Sylvester Stallone as Dwight 'The General' ManfrediMartin Starr as BodhiAnnabella Sciorra as Joanne ManfrediJay Will as Tyson MitchellGarrett Hedlund as Mitch KellerDana Delany as Margaret DevereauxNeal McDonough as Cal ThresherFrank Grillo as Bill BevilaquaMike 'Cash Flo' Walden as BigfootChris Caldovino as Dennis 'Goodie' CarangiVincent Piazza as Vince AntonacciMcKenna Quigley Harrington as GraceBella Heatcote as Cleo MontagueWhilst we don't know anything crystal clear about the Tulsa King cast, we do know something about an important crew member.Original showrunner and executive producer on season 1, Terence Winter, famously departed ahead of season 2, returning as a consultant on season 3. And, as per Variety, it has been revealed that Winter will be returning as "the show's head writer in addition to executive producing."And that means, for Tulsa King season 3, showrunner David Erickson won't be returning. Instead, he'll be focusing on Mayor of Kingstown, another of Taylor Sheridan's popular shows for the streamer, and a Tulsa King spinoff, which I'll delve into more on below.Tulsa King season 4: story synopsis and rumorsDwight continues to expand his empire in Tulsa King (Image credit: Paramount Plus)Full spoilers follow for Tulsa King seasons 1-3. Potential spoilers for Tulsa King season 4.It's a little hard to predict right now where Tulsa King season 4 will go next, since episodes of season 3 will continue to air until November 23. And while I haven't got an inside track to the writer's room, I wouldn't be sharing any spoilers if I did!So, without trying to guess how season 3 will play out, I'd at least imagine that Tulsa King season 4 will carry on in the same vein as the previous seasons. Dwight will continue to build his empire in Tulsa, rejected by the New York crime family he once worked for, battling power struggles and fighting off adversaries looking to topple his rein.In season 3, fans have been introduced to a new character (and villain), Robert Patrick as Jeremiah Dunmire. And Stallone previously told TV Insider, when talking about season 3, that: "You'll come across him in this season, but it's matter of of, he has to just eventually, eventually throw down and say, 'I know you're going to try to kill me.'"So, we're going to try to work this out, or one of us has got to go. That's the theme, and it starts to play out through all 10 episodes. It continues into the next season."You'll notice I haven't included Jeremiah Dunmire in the predicted cast list, and that's purely because I don't know if they'll ever be able to work it out. But, maybe they will (and then I'll update it, of course). If they do, Dunmire could well return alongside his son, Cole, or there could be entirely new villains to face off with in season 4.Will there be more seasons of Tulsa King?Time for a Tulsa King spin-off (Image credit: Paramount Plus)With Tulsa King getting an early renewal for season 4, which is yet to head into production, there's no news yet of a season 5. But, we do have something to talk about – a Tulsa King spin-off.In season 3, Samuel L. Jackson joins as an ex-con prison friend of Dwight, Russell Lee Washington. And there's a duality to his appearance in Tulsa King, as in June 2025, it was confirmed via. Deadline that Samuel L. Jackson's character would have his own spin-off, titled NOLA King.In another expansion to the already illustrious Taylor Sheridan universe on Paramount+, NOLA King will see Jackson continue as his character as Deadline explains: "He will go against Dwight in Tulsa before heading down to take over New Orleans."Sources have also reportedly said that filming on the new show is "eyeing a February start", which could well coincide with filming for Tulsa King season 4, though none of this has been confirmed. Either way, more Tulsa King will at least live on through the spin-off series.Follow TechRadar on Google News and add us as a preferred source to get our expert news, reviews, and opinion in your feeds. Henrico County in Virginia was forced to remove Flock cameras by handOfficials say the company is failing to fulfil its “contractual obligation”A growing number of police forces are cancelling contracts with FlockWork crews in a Virginia county have removed more than 120 Flock cameras after officials said the surveillance tech company had failed to fulfil its “contractual obligation” to remove them.An image obtained by news outlet 12 On Your Side shows a pile of cameras and solar panels that were collected after Henrico County ended its contract with Flock in early October over privacy concerns. Reportedly, the poles upon which the cameras were mounted still remain, as crews claimed Flock has to remove these itself. The removal of the automatic license plate reading technology comes as public trust wanes, and concerns over privacy continue to grow. Plymouth, Massachusetts also canceled its contract with Flock cameras after a high-profile case involving a motoring journalist made national news. Joel Feder, a writer for The Drive, was ambushed by police when the license plate of the $155,000 Range Rover he was test driving was flagged as belong to a stolen vehicle. The car belonged to Jaguar Land Rover's media fleet. According to Feder, the police had used Flock’s camera system to track the journalist down over a number of days.A very similar license plate on another Jaguar Land Rover media vehicle was also falsely flagged by the Flock system in Nebraska only a few days later, leading to another journalist facing lengthy questioning over the vehicle.Plymouth Police Chief Eric Fadden told The Drive that the City Council voted to discontinue using the Flock system in September of this year. Fadden stated that the police force “did not hear any reply from Flock Safety Corporate or Legal, other than some communication with our local representative.” As a result of the lack of communication, he subsequently directed staff to “disconnect the power cords from the cameras,” according to The Drive. However, the cameras remain the property of Flock, and both Henrico County and Plymouth are still waiting for a response from the company as to when they will be collected. Analysis: controversy refuses to go away(Image credit: Getty Images)Flock’s automated license plate recognition cameras have caused plenty of controversy in the past few months, with stories surfacing of police department misuse, hackers gaining access to millions of images, and general concern over personal privacy. Some people have been taking matters into their own hands by disabling cameras, while a number of software companies have been mapping the location of the cameras to help drivers avoid them.MapQuest enjoyed a resurgence in popularity after it added a new Surveillance Layer to its app, showing the location of cameras from Flock, as well as those from rival companies. But during the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 event last month, Flock’s CEO Garrett Langley said we shouldn’t "pause progress” in the face of privacy concerns. “If we want to live in a society where, if you commit a crime, you have a higher probability of being held accountable, we shouldn’t pause progress,” he said. Many privacy advocate groups have raised concerns over Flock’s technology, including the recent news that it was capable of processing ambient audio in order to determine screams, gunshots and even car crashes before alerting emergency services.Flock pulled its plans to implement that particular feature, owing to suggestions from consumer rights groups that it could be classed as "mass surveillance", but a huge amount of public mistrust remains.
